Tony Robinson has accepted an invitation from the Personal Histories Project at the Division of Archaeology to present a talk on his experience as presenter and member of Time Team. First aired in 1994, this Channel 4 television series has undoubtedly raised public awareness and enthusiasm for British archaeology. Twenty seasons have been broadcast – amounting to over 230 episodes – yet in October 2012 the discontinuation of Time Team was announced.
Tony Robinson will present his own personal history, describing his life as a public figure, actor and comedian, on Monday 11th February, 2013Â in the Babbage Lecture Theatre at 3:30pm. The event is open to the public and advance booking is necessary for the event. You can reserve a free ticket here.
Hi everyone, Is it possible to book 2 places for the Tony Robinson talk on 11th.Feb.? I could not access the link given on the posting. Thanks in anticipation, Regards Corinne & Phil Cox

Hi Corinne and Phil,
I’ve just checked the event ticketing site and I’m afraid that all of the tickets have been taken (http://personalhistoriesproject.eventbrite.co.uk/#). However, there is a button which allows you to add yourselves to the waiting list.
Best wishes,
ACA
