Archaeology in the New HSPS Tripos

The undergraduate prospectus for entry to the University of Cambridge from 2013 is now published online. Prospective undergraduates interested in Archaeology can apply for the new Human, Social, and Political Sciences (HSPS) tripos. The degree offers both breadth and specialisation, with papers in related subjects including Politics and International Relations, Sociology, Social Anthropology and Biological Anthropology alongside two core papers introducing the study of Archaeology and three papers specialising in Assyriology and Egyptology.

The Division of Archaeology at Cambridge University is currently ranked number 1 in the country for the study of archaeology by the Complete University Guide.The Division is hosting an open day for prospective Archaeology & Anthropology students next Monday, 12th March 2012. To attend, please download and complete the application form here. The main open days for the University of Cambridge will be on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th July 2012 and booking will be available here from early April. Additionally, there is an Archaeology and Anthropology masterclass taking place on Saturday 23rd June 2012. Applications for this will open in early April here.
