Excavation begins at Ridley Hall in Cambridge

Machine excavations are under way at Ridley Hall in Cambridge, where ACA are opening one trench within the footings of a new building that is planned for the college. Full excavation will begin after Easter and the dig will last seven days, between 11th April and 17th April.  A  range of volunteers have already been recruited from the Cambridge Archaeology Field Group with 6th form students who will be staying at both Magdalene College and Homerton College.
