Binham Archaeology Open Weekend

Picture 021Coinciding with the Festival of British Archaeology, Binham Local History Group are hosting test pit excavations in and around the village on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July.

The excavations will be open to visitors from 10am-4pm and the society is still looking for volunteers to dig the test-pits over the two days.

There will also be a guided tour of Binham Priory and monastic ruins each day at 2pm, and a small exhibitions of previous finds will be open all day in the Priory.
