Twilight at the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology

Twilight at the Museums returns to Cambridge on Wednesday 13th February. This is a fun event for families where the venues open into the evening for a torch-lit adventure. From exploring the solar system at the Whipple Museum to a story safari at the Botanic Gardens the event provides the opportunity to see the University’s world class collections in a different way. As well as activities taking place inside, there will also be light projections and activities outside so there will be lots going on for everyone to enjoy. Last year Twilight attracted over 6000 people. In 2013, A mixture of free drop-in and bookable events are taking place from 4.30pm-7:30pm across the city.

Bring your torch and follow in the footsteps of those who have met people and discovered places in the past at the newly refurbished Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology and navigate your way through the new gallery by torchlight. Find unlit lamps, canoes out of water and soles without shoes. What new and unusual things will you find?
