Personal Histories Project presents Tony Robinson and a Time Team retrospective

Tony Robinson has accepted an invitation from the Personal Histories Project at the Division of Archaeology to present a talk on his experience as presenter and member of Time Team. First aired in 1994, this Channel 4 television series has undoubtedly raised public awareness and enthusiasm for British archaeology. Twenty seasons have been broadcast – amounting to over 230 episodes – yet in October 2012 the discontinuation of Time Team was announced.

Tony Robinson will present his own personal history, describing his life as a public figure, actor and comedian, on Monday 11th February, 2013 in the Babbage Lecture Theatre at 3:30pm. The event is open to the public and advance booking is necessary for the event. You can reserve a free ticket here.
