On Saturday 23rd March, North West Cambridge archaeological excavations are having an open day and Roman street party as part of the Cambridge Science Festival. The day will give visitors the chance to meet archaeologists and re-enactors who will display artefacts found on the site and demonstrate Roman cookery and games, including how to fire a catapulta!
The day will run 11am-4pm and people of all ages are welcome. The dress code for the event is wellies and please note that there is only disabled parking available on site, all other access is on foot.
