Cambridge YAC needs new volunteers!

Cambridge Young Archaeologist Club (YAC) meet once a month, usually on the second Saturday, for two hours in the morning.  They are seeking new leaders to help plan and run these meetings.  Cambridge is a fantastic place for archaeology and various organisations within the city are always keen to help out, sometimes hosting and sometimes providing knowledge.  YAC UK also offers fantastic support allowing the branch to be a hassle & relatively admin free club.  Cambridge YAC need leaders who are willing to be CRB checked, some of whom have the relevant first aid qualifications, who can turn up to sessions, as well as supporting adults to help plan and supervise sessions.  If Cambridge YAC can get enough volunteers it will not be essential for everyone to attend every session.  Although the current leaders have all been sharing the admin this could also be a separate role.

To find out more, or to volunteer your help, please get in touch with Cambridge YAC at cambridgeyacs@hotmail.com and see their website here to see some of the things they have been doing recently.
