The annual reports for ACA and its wider community projects run in 2012-2013, Cambridge Community Heritage and Managing a Masterpiece, are now available to view on the website here.
It has been a very busy and incredibly successful year for Access Cambridge Archaeology (ACA), reflected in the fact that there are three separate reports on the projects run. There is a report on the regular outreach activities run by ACA available here. This focuses particularly on ACA’s school programmes including an expansion of the Higher Education Field Academies with funding from the Cambridge Admission Office’s fund for widening participation from 2012. There is also a report specifically on the archaeological events run as part of the Managing a Masterpiece landscape partnership project in the Stour Valley, available here. Another report summarises the Heritage Lottery Funded All Our Stories community projects supported by Cambridge Community Heritage in 2013, available here.
An annual statement about ACA’s activities and achievements is printed in the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research’s publication on ‘Archaeology in Cambridge’. Produced each academic year, the 2012-2013 report will be available on the McDonald’s website shortly. To view previous reports, please see here.
