Comments about the brilliant work of Cambridge Community Heritage from Lindsey Holmes, Project Manager for Cambridge United Football Club’s centenary celebrations.

Cambridge Fans Uniteds unique collection, which represents the club’s 101 year history was awarded a All Our Stories, Heritage Lottery grant in 2012, the club’s centenary year. This project will collect memories from early players, managers and fans and engage the local community in the clubs history throughout 2013. The outcome will be an opportunity to access the clubs unique view of history, through a performance showing historical aspects of life for past players, managers and fans and a mobile app, which will allow users to explore the history of football in Cambridge, access memorabilia, memories and the performances.
